The Fierce Monster

Here I am, still hanging out with Uncle Bert. I am beginning to think that mom went on vacation without me. I sure hope that she is coming back!

I have discovered that Uncle Bert also has a noisy monster living in his cupboard. Whenever it comes out of it’s den, it makes the most fearful big howling growl. Uncle Bert’s monster comes out to roar around a lot more often than the monster at home so I need to be on constant alert for it’s appearance.

Sometimes it sneaks up on me while I am having a little snooze & that is just about enough to make a guy jump right out of his wirehair coat!!!

Of course I am quick to bravely defend the house from this terrible beast with lots of fierce barking & terrier attacks as it roars across the carpet...and I have found out that if I can pull it’s tail out of the wall, it will go back to sleep.

Mom is home!

I haven’t sniffed her yet, but Uncle Bert says that my mom is home with her sore paw all big bandages & high in the air. She can’t get on the computer yet. Thanks for all the well wishies! I am doing my best to keep her spirits up by having a wire-y good time at Uncle Bertie’s ':¬}

Leaving home...

Today Uncle Bertie came for a visit. I was so excited because I haven’t seen him for a long time. I jumped, jumped, jumped until I could kiss him on the nose!

Later, we went for a walk -- me, Uncle Bert & the Dogmother. Mom insisted on taking a picture, but I could hardly sit still for that because Uncle Bert had hold of my leash. We are going off on a great big walk to my second home.

Suki the Shitzsu & Albert the new cat are waiting for me there == and so are my favorite toys & my BONZ!!!

BONZ BONANZA!

O joy! O bliss!

I have been enJOYing a tasty rib bone. Yes! The Dogmother dragged home the biggest rack of ribs I ever saw. My wire-y eyes just about jumped out of my head! The ribs have all (except for the one I have just devoured...yum!) been separated, individually wrapped & stuffed into the freezer. Uncle Bert is coming for a visit today & I just know that he will take those ribs home with him...yes!
