The Fierce Monster

Here I am, still hanging out with Uncle Bert. I am beginning to think that mom went on vacation without me. I sure hope that she is coming back!

I have discovered that Uncle Bert also has a noisy monster living in his cupboard. Whenever it comes out of it’s den, it makes the most fearful big howling growl. Uncle Bert’s monster comes out to roar around a lot more often than the monster at home so I need to be on constant alert for it’s appearance.

Sometimes it sneaks up on me while I am having a little snooze & that is just about enough to make a guy jump right out of his wirehair coat!!!

Of course I am quick to bravely defend the house from this terrible beast with lots of fierce barking & terrier attacks as it roars across the carpet...and I have found out that if I can pull it’s tail out of the wall, it will go back to sleep.

Just don't let it get hold of YOUR tail, Dean-O! Our tails are short enough as it is without losing any to a howling monster like that. Take care!

What a great picture!! i don't like those things either.
Ours is disquised as a maid, but I know what it is now. I first wrote about it back in the spring was I was very young. I like your idea about pulling out it's tail. I'll have to remember that. Usually, I just hide.

Hey Dean-o. I LOVE this photo. J1 saw it in an exhibition once. How smart of you to realise how to quieten the beast. Not much hoovering gets done at my house so I think I'm safe from the monster. Jx

Hey Dean-o...

That's an incredibly cool photo - and so kind of you to defend the homestead against the evils that lie inside that awful machine...

Love,

Hey Dean-o..we have one of those monsters in the closet too! Ours is real sneaky and crawls close to the ground. It has a real long neck AND a tail. Vicious! And it attaches itself to my mom and drags her from room to room! I'm yanking its tail out of the wall next time.. thanks for the tip.xxx
